The PTI-22PSB-T4F-FTUS project arose from the necessity for a generator system tailored specifically for winching onto vehicles transporting foldable buildings, ensuring prompt power availability upon deployment.

Case Study Objective

The primary objective of the PTI-22PSB-T4F-FTUS project was to develop a diesel generator solution optimized for mobile building deployment scenarios. Key objectives included:

  • Seamless Integration: The generator had to be designed for effortless winching onto vehicles carrying foldable buildings, enabling rapid deployment and immediate power supply upon arrival at the deployment site.
  • Self-Contained Functionality: Integrating a 50-gallon fuel tank and cam-lock connections, the solution was required to be self-sufficient, eliminating the need for external fuel sources or complex connection setups.
  • Support for Auxiliary Equipment: Installation of hinged arms was necessary to accommodate an electric hydraulic pump used for leveling the buildings, enhancing operational efficiency during deployment.
