A custom installation utilized by a mobile medical company was running into issues with their generator engine exhaust.  The multiple options that PowerTech provides for generator engine exhaust weren’t quite working for them because there was a possibility that customers would be near the generator exhaust exit.  The medical company wanted to tie the generator exhaust into their vehicle’s engine exhaust, allowing it to exit at the rear of the vehicle.  The medical company’s engineers confirmed that their vehicle exhaust tubing could support the additional exhaust flow from the generator. 

To support this effort, PowerTech designed and implemented a custom exit on the non-service side of the generator.  This solution provided the customer with a plug-and-play solution with straightforward access to the vehicle exhaust exit; now, both engine and generator exhaust are expelled at the rear of the medical vehicle.
