Generator powered by diesel as a source of fuel. Diesel engines are more fuel efficient than gas engines. As a result, diesel engines have a longer running time under the same capacity as a gas generator. Because diesel-powered engines do not have spark plugs or carburetors, diesel engines require less maintenance than gas engines. The major ongoing service requirements for a PowerTech diesel is regulator oil, fuel, and air filter changes. All PowerTech mobile diesel generators are set up to maintain and run at 1800 RPMs. Consistently running at such a low RPM ensures that the longevity of the generator compared to gas generators you would find at your local box store.

In addition to being low maintenance, all of PowerTech's mobile diesel generators have a 4-point mounting system. This system was designed by our engineers to provide a clean look that eliminates unwanted engine vibrations while suppressing the noise levels. This is accomplished by a rubber mounting system or an airbag mounting system, depending on your requirements and/or the restrictions of the application.

PowerTech also provides the option of an open power diesel generator and an enclosed power diesel generator. All of our enclosed generators are powder coated to provide a clean look. Powder coated enclosures also provide a layer of protection from the elements to your mobile diesel generator. The powder-coated sheet metal also has a layer of sound-deadening foam to eliminate unwanted sound to keep your diesel generator quiet. Open powered generators are great for mobile applications that have size and weight restrictions. In addition, open powered diesel generators are usually less expensive than the enclosed option due to less material and assembly.

Generators powered by gasoline as a source of fuel. This can be a great option if your vehicle is also running the same fuel source. Food truck and other specialty vehicle manufacturers rely on keeping their vehicles simplistic by consuming one fuel source. This lightens the overall weight of the vehicle and it's one less consumable product the user has to carry onboard.The PowerTech Gas generator line-up ranges from 12 kW - 20 kW.

Gas-powered generators are available as an open powered generator and enclosed power generator. All enclosed gas generators have a sheet metal enclosure that is powder coated to protect the generator from the outside elements. All of the enclosed mobile gas generators are insulated with a one-inch layer of sound foam. To help with the overall sound of the generator, both enclosed and open gas generators includes a 4 point mounting system to prevent unwanted vibrations from the engine.

Gas generators are popular among food truck owner/operators, specialty vehicles, commercial vehicles, mobile medical trucks, and other small to mid-size mobile applications. All of the PowerTech gas generator models are covered with a 2 year or 3000-hour warranty.
